A Blessed New Year to You
A NEW YEAR PRAYER FOR YOU
Take twelve whole months.
Clean them thoroughly of all bitterness,
hate, and jealousy.
Make them just as fresh and clean as possible.
Now cut each month into twenty-eight, thirty, or
thirty-one different parts,
but don't make up the whole batch at once.
Prepare it one day at a time out of these ingredients.
Mix well into each day one part of faith,
one part of patience, one part of courage,
and one part of work.
Add to each day one part of hope,
faithfulness, generosity, and kindness.
Blend with one part prayer, one part meditation,
and one good deed.
Season the whole with a dash of good spirits,
a sprinkle of fun, a pinch of play,
and a cup full of good humor.
Pour all of this into a vessel of love.
Cook thoroughly over radiant joy,
garnish with a smile,
and serve with quietness, unselfishness,
and cheerfulness.
You're bound to have a Happy New Year 2009.

Dear Beloved:
On behalf of all of us at Hope Home Calcutta, I would like to take this opportunity to say 'Thank You' for generously supporting the work here in Calcutta throughout 2008. Without you, we would not have accomplished as much as we did and we wanted to let you know that we value your participation, involvement and contributions to the work of the Hope Home Calcutta.
We look forward to your continuous support in 2009 even as the world's economy is experiencing an economic depression. We believe that together we can continue to make a huge difference in our lifetime.
We wish you all a very prosperous New Year 2009 and pray that all goes well with you, including everyone and everything related to you.
Dev and everybody at the Hope Home Calcutta
